As you probably know, we had a really good turnout for our July 4th celebration last year. We raised $41,800 and granted 24 scholarships to families of students in the Indian Creek Community. We hope you and your families had a great day as well!
Because the theme for our 2019 celebration is: the National Day of Prayer, we are partnering with the Alliance of Prayer Warriors (a nationwide organization with over one million members) and Franklin Graham (who had the theme: “Pray Together, Work Together”), to ask you to join us at Indian Creek for a day of prayer, education, fellowship and action to combat evil in our world.
According to our host, Jeff Todd, the event will include:
A fantastic two-hour Masterpiece Theatre presentation, with choral and instrumental music, drama, and dance, of the story of Exodus, God’s great law and prophets, to be performed by a professional actor, Laura Criley.
Other awesome presentations by well-known Christian authors, speakers, and educators
Our incredible international missionary team will share updates about the progress of the churches they are supporting in India, Afghanistan, Kenya, Nigeria, and Bangladesh
Children’s activities and games
We will provide an opportunity for you to join the Alliance of Prayer Warriors for one of their weekly prayer meetings, and to hear some wonderful music and Christian speakers
We’ll offer an evangelistic opportunity for you to share your faith in Christ, using the message of Christ and His sacrifice on the cross as a powerful witness to those watching you, especially to those who have not yet received Jesus Christ as their Savior
We will share the story of four precious infants from our mission in India, who were rescued from ac619d1d87
